Need new mirrors

The mirrors on my 85 Aspencade dont like to stay up in place. They are always flopping down. I saw a link at one time for some new replacement mirrors, bujt cant seem to find it now, can someone point me in the right direction?

Check this out. Be careful with after market mirrors, they can tend to come loose and flop around.

Just a note of caution. I've bought the aftermarket mirrors and they can NOT be made to hold in place. After making several attempts I bought real Honda replacements and they work as they should.

My '86 Aspencade fell over on its right side while parked on soft ground this past weekend breaking the right mirror. I can see lots of options at eBay and other places. My problem is that the previous owner did lots of chrome upgrades and I can't tell if the mirror I need to replace had original chrome on the other side or is one he bought extra. My question is, do original mirrors have chrome fronts, or brushed aluminum, or something else. I want the replacement to match the one on the left side and that one has chrome.

2. Take mirror off, remove the rubber boot, put mirror back on.

5. Now change the drill bit to a 1/4 inch.
6. Now drill just the outside holes to this size (each side, not all the way through this time.

8. trim off the excess bolt with a Dremmel tool or hacksaw.
9. Remove the mirror and install the boot again.
Your Done!

This way will allow for minor bumping of the mirror,and will still be adjustable,Yet it wont put stress on the Fairing mount if it was a Solid connection,because it is still able to move slightly.

The OEM mirrors do not have chrome or brushed alum. They are black finish.

The chrome plate is an aftermarket accessory added to the mirrors to dress it up/farkle it.

Well, after reading the responses here about the after market mirrors I decided to see what I could do with the broken mirror. I got the least expensive welding tool from Harbor Freight and a couple of pieces of ABS from Lowe's for practice. Then I was able to weld the broken mirror back together so it's completely functional again. There are visible weld marks but it's attached, pointed in the right direction and looks like it'll stay there until I can find something better at a swap meet.

the original mirrors on my '87 have the brushed metal backs, and like was stated earlier, there is a chrome plate you can buy to stick on it, if ya want the flash. I'm thinkin about getting some myself, just to dress it up. Also, saw a wing that had the eagles on the mirrors, that looked pretty kewl too.
